Simple but effective management

TP-LINK's TL-SG105E offers your various options for network monitoring. By means of port mirroring, loopback detection and cable diagnostics, you can detect connection problems in your network and even locate them. Furthermore, you can prioritise the data traffic using port priority and 802.1p priority to ensure that VoIP and video streaming are always fluid and free from delays.

To further improve security and performance, the TL-SG105E supports MTU-VLAN, port-based VLAN and 802.1q-based VLAN. With its basic management functions, the Easy Smart Switch therefore occupies a level above the unmanaged software switches, and offers great added value at a similar price.

Switch your network to green
The TL-SG105E 5-port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch has the latest innovative, energy-efficient technology, which can expand your network capacity which simultaneously using significantly less energy. It adapts the power consumption to the link status and the cable length automatically to improve your network's ecological balance sheet.

Switching off inactive ports

If a computer or network device is switched off, the corresponding port of a traditional switch will continue to use a significant amount of power. The TL-SG105E detects the link status of the individual ports automatically and reduces the power consumption of ports that are idle.

Energy allocation according to cable length
In an ideal situation, shorter cables consume less power, because less energy is lost over short distances. However, for most conventional devices maximum output is used for every cable length. TP-LINK's green IT detects the length of the connected Ethernet cable and adjusts the transmission output accordingly, instead of keeping the energy level... ...
