TP-links Green-IT is used to adjust the power output to the device requirements by switching off inactive ports and setting the transmit power to the cable length. The switch also complies with the EU RoHS Directive, which prohibits the use of certain hazardous substances. In addition, the packaging can be 80% recycled.

High Performance
Due to its non-blocking switching architecture, the TL-SF1048 forwards the data packets without delay. IEEE802.3x flow control at full duplex and backpressure at half duplex avoids data jams and allows the TL-SF1048 to work reliably.
