Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2 AI accelerator for Raspberry Pi 5

The Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2 is an AI accelerator module for machine learning and artificial intelligence on the Raspberry Pi 5. Based on the original AI HAT+, this module extends the support of vision models with selected Large Language Models and Vision Language Models. The connection is made via PCI Express and enables powerful and efficient AI acceleration directly on the system.

The Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2 builds on the previous AI HAT+ (article no. RASP SHD AI 13 or RASP SHD AI 26), but goes much further. Thanks to Hailo 10H and 8 GB of its own LPDDR4X memory, larger and more complex AI models can be executed directly on the Raspberry Pi 5 for the first time, including selected LLMs and VLMs. Less dependency on system memory, lower latencies and significantly more AI flexibility at the edge.
