The Cautiex smoke detector is a stand-alone smoke detector for private homes, residential areas, motor homes and caravans.

Smoke detectors are not able to either prevent the outbreak of fire or to extinguish it. They are designed to give you adequate warning of fatal smoke, which develops during a fire, and to give you sufficient time to escape.

SENSOR TYPE
The Cautiex smoke detector is a photoelectric smoke detector based on infrared technology. Radioactivity is not used to detect smoke, which makes this device environmentally friendly.
The Cautiex smoke detector cannot detect either heat or fire.
In order to reliably detect smoke, the smoke from the fire must be able to reach the sensor chamber in the Cautiex smoke detector.

BATTERY TYPE
• CR2 3-V lithium battery/850 mAh (changeable)
