Stripping data cables quickly and easily

WEICON Data-Strip No. 30 is very versatile. In addition to data cables, control cables, patch cables, telephone cables and bus cables can also be stripped easily and safely.

With the WEICON Data-Strip, shielded data cables and special cables with a diameter of 4 - 10 mm and insulation thicknesses of 0.2 to 1.4 mm can be stripped.
The integrated adjusting wheel allows the blade to be set to different insulation thicknesses, foil shielding to be scribed and easily removed.
The infinitely adjustable blade can be replaced as required.
Another function is the stripping of stranded wires with a length stop in the range of 0.2 - 0.8 mm.
The integrated side cutter effortlessly cuts cables with a diameter of up to 8 mm.

WEICON Data-Strip was developed with work safety in mind. The tool is 100% Made in Germany, is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, is fully insulated, robust, ergonomically shaped and sits comfortably in the hand.

1. open latch. Inner blade adjustable via adjusting wheel, for different insulation thicknesses 0.2 - 1.4 mm.
2. release lock. Insert cable Ø 4 - 10 mm. Rotate the stripper 2 to 3 times around the cable
3. remove the outer sheath
4. score the shielding
5. set the length stop from 3.5 - 14 mm in 1.5 mm increments
6. set the working range according to the cable, Ø 0.2 - 0.8 mm
7. strip the stranded wire
8. shorten the strand. Application Solid side cutter max. Ø 2 mm Control cable max. 8 mm
