The ABUS photoelectric smoke detector is characterized by its very compact design. It detects even the smallest smoke particles and warns residents early and effectively against a fire that is developing with a loud alarm. The detection range of the smoke detector is up to 40 m² and is limited to the room in which it is mounted.
Important notes on installation and battery life
In apartments, dormitories and children's rooms, as well as corridors leading through the emergency routes of public rooms, must each have at least one smoke alarm. The smoke detectors must be installed (or installed) and operated in such a way that smoke is detected and reported at an early stage. A fixed 3 V lithium battery guarantees reliable function and long service life of the smoke alarm. The proper functioning of the detector should be checked regularly by pressing the test button. Malfunctions or a weak battery are signaled acoustically and visually.
