The LED Matrix of Bold is programmable and enables animations, characters, text and data display. A light sensor enables movement based on brightness and infrared communication enables multi-robot interactions, swarming and games. Bolt makes it possible to create customizable games including classics like Pac-Man and Snake while learning the basics of game design. Each game uses Sphero in a different way such as rolling on the floor, detecting gestures, or using Sphero as a joystick.
