With the dlinkgo GO-SW-8G 8-port Gigabit easy desktop switch, you can quickly and easily set up a high-performance, reliable and efficient wired network. The GO-SW-8G is a 10/100/1000-Mbit/s switch, which was developed for small work-group performance and also to increase flexibility. Powerful and yet very easy to use, users can simply connect any port of this switch by Plug & Play with a 10-Mbit/s, 100-Mbit/s or 1000-Mbit/s network and thus increase the bandwidth, shorten response times and create reserves for coping with even the most extreme load situations. Connect the GO-SW-8G with multiple computers to share files and folders with other users or connect it to a router to share your Internet connection.

Effortlessly high speed
The GO-SW-8G is equipped with auto-sensing-enabled 10/100/1000-Mbit/s Ethernet ports. Each port has a LED display that provides a quick overview of connection status and activity. The ports detect the network speed and automatically perform the negotiation between 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T as well as between full and half duplex. This means that the optimum transfer rate is ensured for each device that is connected to the network, accelerating surfing the Internet, video streaming and online gaming. In addition, the GO-SW-8G supports automatic MDI/MDIX detection, so that each connection can be directly connected to a server, hub, router or switch using a normal, uncrossed twisted-pair Ethernet cable.

Reliable Plug & Play installation
The GO-SW-8G is a Plug and Play device, which requires no configuration, making setup as quick and smooth as possible. You can now easily connect multiple computers to share files, music and videos on your home or small office network and even create a game environment for several players. The 802.3x flow control to all ports minimises the number of packets dropped when the receive buffer of a port is full. This means a more reliable connection for all your connected devices.

Environmentally friendly
The GO-SW-8G is equipped with the D-Link Green technology, which significantly reduces the power consumption. If a port is not connected to a computer or the connected computer is off, the port automatically switches to ''hibernate''. This will significantly reduce the power consumption without being disconnected from the network.
