With the SDOCK2U33RE 2.5/3.5-inch SATA HDD/SDD Copy and Docking Station, you can copy/clone an existing hard drive without using a host computer system, or dock and swap drives from a desktop computer or laptop at the same time using a single USB or eSATA port.

Versatile Functions
The SDOCK2U33RE offers convenient dual-function performance. As a hard disk copy station, the SDOCK2U33RE allows you to create an exact sector-by-sector clone from one hard disk to another, including partitions and boot sector information. This ensures data integrity and consistency for sensitive operations such as data recovery. As an external hard disk docking station, you can use the SDOCK2U33RE to connect drives via either eSATA or USB. Each drive slot supports 2.5/3.5-inch hard drives or high-capacity solid-state drives individually, which are tested up to 4 TB.

High Speed
With support for SATA III (6 Gbps), you can optimize efficiency with copy speeds of up to 22 GB per minute and eSATA docking speeds of up to 6 Gbps. The docking station can also be connected to UASP via USB 3.0 for transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s (70% faster than conventional USB 3.0). For more information, see our UASP test results below.

Thanks to push button operation and plug-and-play installation, the copy and docking station is especially designed for trouble-free operation. With the SDOCK2U33RE you can quickly dock hard disks or start copying hard disks. It's easy with a touch of a button. Plus, the built-in LED progress bar saves you time by allowing you to easily monitor the entire copy process and always know exactly when the next operation can be started.
For additional compatibility with different drive types for copy and fast erase applications, SDOCK2U33RE supports the use of different drive adapters. The StarTech.com-Adapter listed below have been specifically tested to ensure compatibility with this drive copy station.

Improved performance with UASP
