The external USB 3.0 to M.2 (NGFF) SM2NGFFMBU33 chassis turns your SATA M.2 solid state drive into a mobile high speed USB 3.0 drive.
Boost external performance by using a M.2 SSD instead of a disk drive and take full advantage of your USB 3.0 computer system. The chassis supports UASP, so when used with a UASP-enabled host computer, you can achieve 70% faster transfer speeds than a traditional USB 3.0.
This slim, pocket-sized SSD case is designed for mobility. Lightweight yet durable, the case fits easily into your pocket or laptop bag. In addition, the housing is fully powered via the USB host bus and does not require an external power supply.
The durable aluminum construction helps to keep the drive from being damaged while on the move. In addition, to optimize heat dissipation, the chassis has been equipped with specially designed ventilation openings that help to provide a cooler operating environment for optimal performance and longer drive life.
Various drive heights can be mounted for full compatibility with all standard M.2 solid state drives, including: 2242, 2260 and 2280.
