Thanks to the minimum illumination level of 0 lux (with IR illuminator) and the 8 powerful IR LEDs, the camera captures clear and sharp images even in complete darkness and offers a field of view of up to 8 meters.

The advanced millimeter wave radar technology of the Foscam R8M enables precise detection of people's movements in a 360° radius, even outside the visible range of the camera. Thanks to the auto-tracking function, the camera automatically tracks detected persons and ensures that they always remain in focus. This dynamic tracking improves reliability and seamless security. The camera reliably detects movements of people and pets (dogs and cats) and adapts flexibly to different environments.
