The EX-1311VIS USB 2.0 to serial RS-232/422/485 converter in a metal housing provides a serial RS-232, 422 or 485 high-performance UART 16C550 combo output with 15-kV ESD over-voltage protection and 2.5-kV optical isolation. It has been developed to add one more serial output in a rugged metal housing for 19-inch racks via the USB 2.0 bus.
