The EX-6030 in the metal housing makes it possible to easily connect your serial devices over the
network (Ethernet). You are therefore no longer
limited to a specified distance but can control every RS-232 peripheral
over the network. You can easily integrate the EX-6030 into the network
with an IP address (UDP, IP, TCP, ICMP, HTTP, DHCP, ARP ping).
The supplied and other virtual COM port software can also be used for control
purposes. The COM ports are then entered in the Device Manager. The
EX-6030 can be screwed directly onto the wall or installed in
a 48 cm (19'') rack with the DIN rail kit.
