This wired LED is ideal for common applications and experiments in the field of semiconductor light and indication. As a common standard component with a grid dimension of 2.54, the connection of the cathode to which the negative potential is applied is shortened. Light emitting diodes must always be operated in the forward direction and current limited to the maximum permissible milliampere value to prevent damage. This can be achieved with a constant current source or a suitable series resistor.
