The surface-mounted devices are ideal anywhere it is difficult or even impossible to retrofit flush-fitted devices, such as in timber frame houses, garden sheds etc. If you need a device that is not available in the surface-mounted range, you can use the surface-mounted housing to fit the majority of our other flush-fitted switch ranges as surface mounting.
