The Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 extender uses a Cat.6 UTP (or higher) network cable to bridge distances of up to 140 m between computers and four peripherals. Distances of up to 120 m can be achieved using Cat.5e UTP/STP cables. We recommend the use of patch cables with rigid cores to achieve the best possible performance and compatibility.
