Multi-G speeds for Wi-Fi 6 networks
The DMS-1250 series offers full 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports for a significant improvement in network performance with increased bandwidth required for Wi-Fi 6 applications such as high-speed streaming environments. It also offers additional 10 Gbps Ethernet ports and SFP+ ports for high-speed uplink connections and to increase the overall efficiency of the data network

PoE+ availability on all ports
The DMS-1250 series includes PoE models with 8, 16 and 24 ports. All models support the 802.3at standard, while the 18 and 24 port models also support 802.3bt and offer a higher power budget of up to 475W to power devices such as video phones, cameras and Wi-Fi APs to meet a wide range of business needs. PoE models also support innovative PoE features such as Perpetual PoE, which provides uninterrupted power to connected devices (PD) even when the power sourcing equipment (PSE) switch powers up. With Fast PoE, the switch can supply the connected end devices with power in a relatively short time without waiting for the operating system to boot up. In addition, an advanced Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) automatically handles the power supply to IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and 802.3bt PoE++ powered devices for optimal power distribution.
