With the PCI Express SATA III Controller Card (6 Gb/s) PEXESAT322I, you can add 2 internal or external SATA ports to your computer through a single PCI Express card slot (x1). The card has a jumper selection that allows you to configure the card for 2 internal or external SATA III ports, or one internal and one external port each.
The SATA III card provides port multiplier (PM) support for each port, allowing multiple drives to be connected via a single cable to maximize the number of SATA device connections while reducing the amount of cables required.
